Dr. Ayllon is Emeritus Professor of Psychology and Special Education at Georgia State University in Atlanta where he taught from 1968-97. His former positions include, Associate Director of Training, West Philadelphia Community Mental Health Consortium, and Associate Research Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that time he was Director of Clinical Research at Anna State Hospital, Illinois, and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Southern Illinois University. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Kansas, and his Ph.D. degree, ('59) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston in Texas. Dr. Ayllon is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology, American Board of Professional Psychology, and a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Georgia. Dr Ayllon has served as a consultant to a variety of private and public mental health settings as well as schools. He is a Fellow of Division 25 (The Experimental Analysis of Behavior), a member of Division 12 (Clinical) of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Mary Burch is a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist, one of less than 50 in the United States. She is also a certified Animal Control Officer and she is currently the Director of the American Kennel Club's "Canine Good Citizen® Program," a non-competitive program open to all dogs which tests their ability to be well-behaved members of the community. In her role as the Director of the AKC's CGC Program, Dr. Burch writes copy for the AKC web page, a web page that receives 2 million visits per month. Dr. Burch has trained dogs to the advanced levels of obedience and she is considered an international expert on the topic of therapy dogs. She is the author of eight books including "Volunteering with Your Pet" and "How Dogs Learn," and over 100 articles on dog-related topics. She is a frequent lecturer at universities and colleges and has given presentations on canine behavior throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. Her work with therapy dogs has been featured in US News & World Report, Newsweek and Readers' Digest. She has won the Maxwell Medallion from the Dog Writers Association of America for her writing, and is a founding member of the Animal Trainer's Forum in the Association for Behavior Analysis. Dr. Burch has also been a lobbyist on legislation pertaining to dangerous dogs and responsible dog ownership. She has consulted with nursing homes and training programs in several states on developing animal-assisted therapy programs and served as member of County Animal Control's "Dangerous Dog Committee," determining if dogs were to be declared dangerous and the course of action. Dr. Burch has appeared on "Martha Stewart Living TV" and "Animal Planet" as well as numerous radio programs to discuss animal training. Dr. Burch is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and she has been a member of the Association of Behavior Analysis since 1980. Dr. Burch's behavioral work has been published by the U.S. Department of Education and she has been a guest reviewer for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. |

Kathleen Dyer, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, has been involved in research, education, and program development in the area of autism for more than 30 years. A licensed speech pathologist and board certified behavior analyst, she was involved in the development of the River Street Autism Program at Coltsville, where she is currently serves as Clinical Director (crec.org/ss/divisionunits/rss/autism). Her research and training techniques in autism intervention have been disseminated at national and international conferences, and in more that 35 publications. She has been on the faculty of the University of Massachusetts and Temple University, and is currently teaching autism at Elms College, in Chicopee, MA. Janet Ellis, Ph.D.,is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Associate Professor in the Department of Behavior Analysis, University of North Texas. Her publications have appeared in Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and Education and Treatment of Children and deal with functional analysis of severe problem behavior in public school settings. She is founder and Director of Behavioral Assessment and Technology Support Systems (BATSS), a group of behavior analysis master's students who provide workshops in various areas of behavior analysis for area school districts, and who train public school staff in how to apply behavioral technology. She has developed two distance learning courses that focus on techniques of applied behavior analysis as well as providing training in functional analysis methodology in school settings.

| Dr. Fisher received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Institute and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from September 1, 1986 to August 31, 1987. He is a former recipient of the Bush Leadership Award. He is an associate professor of behavioral biology in the Department of Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Fisher is currently on assignment in Atlanta Georgia where he serves as the Executive Director of the Marcus Behavior Center at the Marcus Institute, an affiliate of the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Prior to June of 1999, Dr. Fisher was the Executive Director of the Neurobehavioral Inpatient and Outpatient Programs and the Chief Psychologist for the Psychology Training Program at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Fisher has co-authored over 100 research articles and chapters. He has been awarded an individual research project grant (R01) by the National Institute of Child and Human Development to examine direct and interactive effects of choice variables (e.g., reinforcement rate and quality; choice-making opportunities as reinforcement) on the functions of destructive and alternative behavior. | Dwight Harshbarger, Ph.D. is Executive Director and Senior Fellow of the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies. The Center’s mission is to advance the scientific study of behavior and its humane applications. His personal interests are in strengthening quality and safety performance in organizations. Dwight has headed human resources in two corporations – as a corporate senior vice president for Reebok International, Ltd., and corporate vice president of Sealy, Inc. He served as a consultant in RHR International’s Chicago office and later as director of strategic consulting and vice president at Aubrey Daniels International. He heads The Browns Group, Inc., and has successfully implemented behavior-based performance improvement programs in the United States and Asia. Prior to entering corporate work, he completed post-graduate study at Harvard and then joined the faculty of West Virginia University where he became a tenured professor of psychology. He later served as CEO of a community mental health center in the southern West Virginia coal fields. He has edited and authored books and articles on organizational performance, and is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and American Psychological Society. In 2006 he received the Outstanding Alumni Award from the Psychology Department at the University of North Dakota. His first book of fiction, In the Heart of the Hills: A novel in stories, was published in 2005. He is at work on Hawk’s Nest Tunnel, a novel about the largest and least known industrial disaster in American History. |

| Steven C. Hayes is Nevada Foundation Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada. An author of twenty books and more than 275 scientific articles, his career has focused on an analysis of the nature of human language and cognition and the application of this to the understanding and alleviation of human suffering. In 1992 he was listed by the Institute for Scientific Information as the 30th "highest impact" psychologist in the world during 1986-1990 based on the citation impact of his writings. Dr. Hayes has been President of Division 25 of the American Psychological Association, of the American Association of Applied and Preventive Psychology and of the Association for Advancement of Behavior Therapy. He was the first Secretary-Treasurer of the American Psychological Society. He has received the Don F. Hake Award for Exemplary Contributions to Basic Behavioral Research and Its Applications from Division 25 of the American Psychological Association. In 1999, HHS Secretary Donna Shalala appointed him to a five year term on the National Advisory Council on Drug Abuse. |

| Dr. Kent Johnson founded Morningside Academy, in Seattle, Washington in 1980, and currently serves as its Executive Director. Morningside is a laboratory school for children and youth, investigates effective school practices, and has trained and coached teachers in over 80 public schools and agencies throughout the USA and Canada since 1991. Dr. Johnson graduated from Georgetown University and the University of Massachusetts. He has taught hundreds of children, youth and adults how to read, write, do math, think, reason and problem-solve; and thousands of teachers how to teach those foundation skills to their students. Tim Ludwig earned his Ph.D. at Virginia Tech researching the benefits of employee-driven behavior based safety programs under E. Scott Geller. Dr. Ludwig is a full professor at Appalachian State University where he was named a University Deans’ Distinguished Graduate Faculty for his contributions to the nationally recognized Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Human Resources Management Masters program. Tim's teaching has been recognized with the North Carolina University Board of Governors’ Excellence in Teaching award and he has been inducted into Appalachian State University's Academy of Outstanding Teachers. Dr. Ludwig is currently serving as the President of the Organizational Behavior Management Network and is an associate editor of the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management. He is the author of dozens of scholarly articles that empirically document the successes of methods to improve safety and quality in industry through behavior-based management. His book Intervening to Improve the Safety of Occupational Driving reviews 10 years of behavior-based safety in the product delivery industry. Jackson (Jack) Marr received the BS degree in 1961 from Georgia Tech where he studied mathematics, physics, and psychology He received a Ph.D. in experimental psychology with a minor in physiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1966. He is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Georgia Tech where he has taught courses in the experimental analysis of behavior, physiology and behavior, behavioral pharmacology, and probability & statistics. He has been particularly active in the international support and development of behavior analysis in Europe, Mexico, China, and the Middle East. He was a Research Fellow in Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School, a visiting professor at the Universidad National Autonoma de Mexico, and the first Eminent Scholar invited to Jacksonville State University. He was a Navy contractor for Project Sanguine in a study of possible behavioral effects of extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields. As an AIEE Senior Fellow at the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory, he conducted research on the effects of microwaves as reinforcers for operant behavior and the effects of stimulant drugs on sustained military flight performance. McClannahan, Ph.D. is Executive Director of the Princeton Child Development Institute; internationally known, the Institute was one of the first non-institutional programs in the United States for people with autism. Dr. McClannahan's research on behavioral intervention, accountability systems, staff training and mentoring, and program evaluation has been recognized by the Senate of the State of New Jersey (commendation on research and service to persons with autism, 1988); by the National Teaching-Family Association (Outstanding Contributions Award, 1989); by the Norwegian Association for Behavior Analysis (featured interview in Diskriminanten, 1991); by Developmental Disabilities Services Managers (Annual Award for Outstanding Contributions in Management, 1992); and by Division 25 of the American Psychological Association (first Fred S.
