Behavioral Virtual Community

New Participants in BVC

Instructions

Welcome!

We're glad you've decided to check out the Behavioral Virtual Community. This will step you through the process of getting started.

If you would like to participate in any of the Behavioral Virtual Community Forums, please email the webmaster at webmaster@behavior.org who will assist you with the signing in process.

There's a login process, designed to be very simple, which will require a couple of minutes of your time to fill out a user profile.

When you go to the login page, you are given three options:

How You Can Participate

There are many levels of participation in the BVC. We need people to take charge of the development of whole communities of interest (topic areas). We need even more people to assist them in building the infrastructure of the Community.

As a participant, you may only want to engage in some discussion groups, or even just “lurk.” Or you may want to explore the centers of information as they are developed by others. Or you may be just the kind of person who can help us build those centers of information, and plan those discussion groups. We believe your resume or curriculum vita should reflect this kind of professional participation..

There is no charge to participate in BVC – the only “response cost” is to fill out a personal profile for the benefit of your fellow participants, and to promise to follow a reasonable code of on-line conduct.

Problems? If you have trouble with the login or registration process, or you can't get in because of “server timeout,” please send the webmaster email.
