Hometown: New Haven, CT
Interests: ABA, Autism, Education, Sustainability, Environment
Biography: I've been working in the field of ABA since 2003. I started in home-based programs and have experience as a direct instructor, lead therapist, program manager, family/staff trainer and consult in-clinic and home-based programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities. In 2008 I received my Master's in ABA-Special Education at Columbia University and became a BCBA. While there I gained experience working as a Behavior Specialist in special education and inclusion classrooms and I worked and supervised an Early Intensive Behavior Intervention Program for children on the Autism Spectrum. In the Summer of 2010, I started Behavior Basics LLC, a company that provides in-home direct instruction and consulting services based on the principles of ABA to children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. While we're currently serving clients with ASD and other DD, I'm hoping to in the future work with all kinds of behaviors, particularly those related to sustainbility.
