Florence D. DiGennaro Reed, Ph.D., BCBA, Director of Professional Development, Training and Research, Melmark New England in Andover, MA. Dr. Florence DiGennaro Reed also provides consultation to the Institute for Child Development at Binghamton University on a collaborative project involving the New York State Department of Health and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Dr. DiGennaro Reed, a board certified behavior analyst TM, received her doctorate from Syracuse University in 2006 in the area of school psychology. She completed a clinical post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute for Child Development and a pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology at the May Center for Education and Neurorehabilitation and the May Center for Child Development. Dr. DiGennaro Reed has 15 years experience working with individuals with developmental problems and their families in schools and community-based settings. Specifically, she specializes in the behavioral treatment of children with autism spectrum disorders and provides training for caregivers and teachers. In 2005-2006, Dr. DiGennaro Reed served on the board of advisors for the Families for Effective Autism Treatment of Central NY and was honored this past spring with the “When Everybody Cares Award for Professional Excellence.” Dr. DiGennaro Reed is a researcher who has published in a number of refereed journals. In addition, she has written book chapters on topics including behavioral consultation and treatment for children with autism. Florence has presented over 150 papers and workshops at regional and national conferences, as well as in NY area schools. Her current research interests focus on identifying effective and efficient staff and parent training practices, refining functional assessment procedures, social skills interventions, and examining ways to improve treatment integrity. Richard Foxx, Ph.D.

Richard Foxx, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, Penn State Harrisburg. Dr. Foxx is a Clinical Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at the College of Medicine of the Pennsylvania State University. He is the coordinator of the Masters Program in Applied Behavior Analysis at Penn State Harrisburg. Dr. Foxx has written five books and all have been translated into other languages. He recently co-edited Making a Difference: Behavioral Intervention for Autism. He has written over 130 scientific publications, has made 13 training films, and has given over 1000 talks on the use of behavioral principles to treat individuals with autism, mental retardation, mental illness, emotional disturbances, and typical development. Dr. Foxx is an internationally recognized expert in treating behavioral problems. He has lectured in 15 foreign countries and 47 states throughout the United States . He is the editor-in-chief of the journal, Behavioral Interventions and is on the editorial board of seven scientific journals. Dr. Foxx is a Fellow in five divisions of the American Psychological Association, the American Psychological Society, and the American Association on Mental Retardation. He was the President of the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis; the Association for Behavior Analysis; and the Division of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities of the American Psychological Association. In 1998 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the New York State Association for Behavior Analysis and was made an honorary member of the Norwegian Association for Behavior Analysis. In 2001, he received an award from the New York State Association for Behavior Analysis for significant contributions to behavior analysis. He helped found the Pennsylvania Association for Behavior Analysis, was its first President and serves as its executive director. He also was president of the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Association on Mental Retardation. He has served as an expert witness in a number of court cases involving individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, including Youngberg vs. Romeo which was heard by the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. One of his books has sold over two million copies and has been translated into seven languages, and one of his training films, "Harry" (the treatment of a self-abusive man), has won numerous cinematic awards. Brian Liu-Constant, M.S.Ed., Ed.S., BCBA, Director of Early Childhood Services, Melmark New England in Andover, MA. Mr. Brian Liu-Constant, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Massachusetts certified educator in intensive special needs for grades PK-12, is the Director of Early Childhood Services for Melmark New England, a lecturer in the division of corporate, continuing, and distance education at the University of Massachusetts, Boston campus, and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Education and Human Services at Simmons College. He was the president of Behavioral Education Consulting, Inc. Mr. Brian Liu-Constant earned a Master of Science degree in Education and a Specialist in Education degree in Behavioral Education from Simmons College in 1999 and 2001, respectively. He has presented symposia and workshops at national conferences and has provided professional trainings on a variety of behavior analytic topics and has published on the topic of vocabulary development in high school students with dyslexia. Lisa A. Studer, MS, BCBA, Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Melmark New England in Andover, MA. Ms. Lisa Studer received her Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University in 2006. Prior to this, she completed a 4-course graduate series in Applied Behavior Analysis through the University of Massachusetts/Boston and earned her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis in August 2007. During her tenure with Melmark New England, she has been a classroom teacher and is presently an Educational Coordinator. Ms. Lisa Studer has primarily worked with young adults whose focus has been on functional academics, life skills and vocational skills. In addition, she has experience developing behavioral interventions for individuals with significant behavior problems.
