FAQ

How do I register for the Cambridge Center’s website?

On the home page click on word “Register” on the top right of the screen and follow the simple directions. If you have used our old site you should delete temporary internet files and cookies before trying to register.  We also recommend updating your browser as the site works best with new browsers.

Registration asks for a user name.  Is this a name others will see?

Yes this will be the name used in your profile, Who’s Who etc.  So it is best to select a name that you want others to recognize, like First Name Last Name.

Can I use the website without registering?

Yes, but to make store purchases or post jobs, you will need to register.

Sometimes the website asks me to log in.  Is this the same as registering or signing in?

“Logging in” is the general term used here.  If you haven’t registered then you will need to do so to log in. If you are registered, you need to sign in.  Both of these features allow you complete access to the website.

Where do I find Continuing Education Courses?

Click on Continuing Education. The Cambridge Center collaborates with the University of West Florida, Office of ABA. Our Continuing Education courses are offered through http://behavior.uwf.edu. The presentations are donated along with the technology to bring them to you.

What if I have already purchased CE’s under the old website?

If you have purchased a module and you cannot download it, please contact Rebekah, our web manager, at pavlik@behavior.org.  She will check your records and allow you access.

I’m having problems using the new behavior.org website.

Behavior.org is best viewed and used with the Firefox, the newest IE, Opera and Safari browsers.  To use Internet Explorer (IE), you must have v 7.0 or newer to use all of behavior.org’s functions properly. You also should have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash. It is suggested that your Temporary Internet Files and Cookies be deleted for better performance as well.

How do I post a job?

Your must first be a registered user of behavior.org.  Once you login (sign in), go to Jobs and  use the “Add a Listing” button on the right, above the first ad.  Prices vary depending on length of time the ad runs starting at $50 for 30 days.  You will be prompted for payment after completing the online form and posting the listing.

How do I find Behavior and Philosophy?

From our homepage, lower left, go to the Journals area and click through.  You will see all the articles in reverse chronological order.
