It's no coincidence that behavior analysis has spawned a number of talented authors of computer-based training. This tradition is rooted in B.F. Skinner's invention of the teaching machine and programmed instruction. We are fortunate that our membership includes a number of developers of this kind of tutorials about behavioral principles. When you click on any of the links on this page, you will leave the behavior.org site. The Cambridge Center takes no responsibility or credit for the instruction you find there.
Mickey Keenan, Ph.D. is a lecturer at University of Ulster at Coleraine. He is also director of PEAT (Parent's Education as Autism Therapists) and co-author (with Karola Dillenburger) of the first multi-media tutorial about behavior analysis. Click here for a sample of The Stream, a tutorial about the behavior stream.
Darrel Bostow, Ph.D., recently retired from the University of South Florida, has developed extensive tutorials covering behavior analysis. These programmed instruction tutorials are for students of behavior and can be used by instrutors and trainers who wish to integrate them into classes, workshops, and training sessions. Go to Dr. Bostow's website: www.scienceofbehavior.com.
Eric Fox, Ph.D., at Western Michigan University, has written a very nice Introduction to Relational Frame Theory. Developed with Macromedia Flash, it is full of graphics, interactions and practice activities.
