Are Now Available

Amultidisciplinary panel has completed its review of the evidence and have written clinical practice guidelines for early intervention programs for children with autism under 3 years of age.

A quick summary of their conclusions is:

Three (3) documents are available:

  1. 1999 Publication No. 4217 - Autism/PDD Clinical Practice Guidelines Technical Report (full report 434 pages)
  2. 1999 Publication No. 4215 - Report of the Recommendations (the complete recommendations, background and a summary of the evidence, 322 pages)
  3. 1999 Publication No. 4216 - A Quick Reference Guide for Parents and Professionals (the major recommendations and background information, 108 pages)
